The DJI Mini 2 is an excellent drone that is simple to fly, nimble, and loaded with useful functions. Despite its light weight of 249g, the Dji Mini 2 performs an excellent job of maintaining its position in windy settings and capturing quality video. It’s impossible to overestimate the value of OcuSync 2.0, which greatly enhances video transmission distance.
In the hand and while flying through the air, it’s quite responsive and looks super awesome. I flew for the first flight after fully charging the batteries and controller.
It was a little hesitant but delighted because it was late at night. These lights on the Drone came on when turned on the Drone and controller.
The value argument for the Fly More combo is great at $599.99, and we strongly recommend it.[wptb id="108" not found ]

DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo : Video Quality
The Mini 2 adds 4K/30fps (up from the Mini 1’s maximum 2.7k/30fps), resulting in clear, colorful, and contrasty video. If you require 60 frames per second, you can change the settings in the app to 1080p/60fps (for action or post-processing slow motion shots). Still images can be captured in JPG or JPG+RAW formats.
The Mini 2, with its 1/2.3-inch screen, is a smaller version of the original Mini “The camera’s CMOS sensor and 12MP effective pixels did an excellent job at shooting stunning 4K, 2K, and 1080p films and images.
In comparison to my Autel Evo 4K drone, which has a 1/2.8-inch sensor, this one has a 1/2.8-inch sensor “sensor, with a maximum capture rate of 4K@60fps at 100Mbps The Mini 2 held its own and recorded video with more realistic colors and better auto-exposure than the Mini 1.
The Autel Evo’s main benefit over the Mini 2 is smoother footage during gimbal and drone rotations due to its higher 60fps rate, which is a remarkable feat.
You can also obtain “4x zoom,” which isn’t a real optical zoom; rather, the software crops the video from 4k to 1080 with 2x lossless zoom, then adds another 2x lossy zoom that zooms on the pixels in the video, resulting in quality loss.
The camera is placed on a three-axis gimbal, which ensures excellent stability during twists and rapid starts and stops.
With their “QuickShot” choices, the DJI app now provides four pre-programmed cinematic settings that make beginners look like pros. “Rocket” is one of them Starting from the ground and climbing straight up, the shot expands as it climbs .
The Dronie camera turns to face you, then pulls back and upward, keeping you in the center of the “selfie” photo.
Circle just revolves a predetermined region, turning to keep the selected object in the video’s center while it orbits around it, and “Helix” is similar to circle but uses a more sophisticated sequence of circles and zooms.
No post-processing software is necessary for the video taken in these modes, which may be quickly altered, music added, and shared on social media all from inside the app.
DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo: Weight
The drone weighs only 249 grams, which is one gram less than the mandatory registration weight set by the FAA in the United States.
If you’re traveling outside of the United States, check local regulations for weight and registration requirements. It’s small enough to fit in your jacket pocket, despite the fact that you’ll need a controller that’s almost as big as the drone itself.
To transport this, you’ll still need a tiny bag. Each prop is just approximately 3” in size, and the legs fold inward when not in use to make it readily packable in this “Fly More” package.
DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo : Stability:
With the modest weight, you lose nothing in terms of stability. In the wind, the Mini 2 is far more steady than the Mini 1, and I found it to be even more stable than my larger and heavier Phantom Pro. It seemed like flying in no-wind circumstances on two days of flights — one with 15mph sustained/21mph gusty winds, followed by 21mph sustained/28mph gusting winds the next day. It can fly in winds of up to 37 mph, according to DJI.
For wireless connection between the drone and controller, the drone now incorporates DJI’s Occusync 2.0 technology, which dramatically increases the maximum distance between controller and drone while ensuring clear video feed over that distance.
According to DJI, the maximum distance from the controller is 10 kilometers, but flying so far away from the pilot is a major breach of FAA regulations and a surefire way to lose your drone when it collides with anything or runs out of power miles away. To put it another way, Occusync’s reach will more than cover your flight.
With a single tap, you may start the drone. Similarly, the Mini 2 now has a GPS-based “Return to Home” feature, which lets you to press the “RTH” button and have the drone return to its original launch site and properly land. If you don’t know where your drone is or if you need to get it home quickly, the RTH is an excellent option.
The batteries are good for “up to 31 minutes” of flying time, however I never go below that to ensure the drone returns to me. I generally bring it home with around 25% left. (To improve battery life, number your batteries and please ensure you’re rotating them rather than continuously using, recharging, and using the same battery).
The DJI Fly app provides you a detailed lesson on how to use your drone to make you familiar with it if this is your first drone or if you’re switching from another drone manufacturer. Furthermore, the app’s capacity to determine which regions are permissible to fly in vs those that are not will prevent you from flying anywhere that is prohibited or unsafe.

Fly: DJI Mini 2 Fly More combo
More than just the drone and controller are included in the Fly More combination package. The package includes three batteries (rather than one), which will give you about 90 minutes of flight time, as well as a three-battery gang charger to charge all three batteries in one device. However, despite being able to insert all three batteries, the gang charger will only charge one battery at a time.
DJI performed an excellent job with this drone. When the Mini 1 was released, despite my desire for a practically pocket-sized drone, I passed it up owing to a lack of essential functions. With this drone, DJI has completely remedied that, making the Mini 2 one of the most feature-packed drones available in such a small package.
If this is your first drone or you simply want something smaller, the Mini 2 is a great choice. Overall, the Mini 2 is a great choice if you’re looking for a compact, easy-to-use photo/video drone as a first drone or an upgrade from a toy-level UAV. It’s incredible how far technology has progressed in the last few years.[wptb id="108" not found ]
